A deadly Thursday morning crash shut down Route 33 in Northampton County, state police said.
The crash was reported in the northbound lanes near milepost 11.9 in Bushkill Township shortly before 6:20 a.m., Trooper Nathan Branosky said on Twitter.
Traffic was being detoured onto the Belfast exit and onto Sullivan Trail, Branosky said.
The crash scene was cleared and highway reopened around 9:40 a.m., Branosky said. The accident remained under investigation by state police.
